No.1 Grealin, Culnacnoc, Isle of Skye

Our 4 star cottage is an original crofter's cottage which has been fully modernised, furnished and equipped as a family home. It sleeps 5 (one in a slightly narrower bed) and has a mature enclosed garden. A cot is also available and dogs can stay by arrangement.

Situated on the spectacular Trotternish peninsula, at the edge of the Trotternish National Scenic Area the cottage has a totally unspoilt rural position - no traffic; no noise pollution; outstanding views over moors, mountains, islands & sea. It's an excellent area for walking (along the Trotternish Ridge and the North Skye coast), fishing, sea trips, and there's a sandy beach nearby. There is also easy access to major Skye attractions: Old Man of Storr, Quirang, Lealt Falls, Kilt Rock; Duntulm Castle; and the Museum of Rural Life.

A few comments from visitors:

20 years exactly since our first time in Grealin. Weary travellers, beware: this place is addictive!

What  a wonderful place to spend a few days. Very welcoming.

Well worth travelling all the way from Belgium. Lovely cottage with ever-changing views.

Over 20 years of visits to Grealin we have never been disappointed.

Time has simply flown by – just love the cottage – home from home.

We loved this peaceful place with great views and a beautiful garden.

Accidentally stepped on a 170 million year dinosaur footprint at Staffin beach. Amazing!
